1997 - Birth
Kerafrit was founded with the aim of offering innovative solutions to the ceramics industry, starting out as a manufacturer of frits, glazes, and pigments.
2001 - First oven
The first frit melting furnace is installed, consolidating production capacity and marking the beginning of international growth.
2005 - Product diversification
Acquisition of Keracril and incorporation of new production lines: deflocculants, screen printing vehicles, and additives, expanding the product offering.
2007 - New identity
Official name change to Kerafrit, reinforcing the brand's identity and commitment to innovation and ceramic design.
2009 - First Gold Alpha
First Alfa Gold Award for the Nanoglaze R&D&I project, which recognizes Kerafrit's commitment to research and technological development.
2010 - Productive expansion
Expansion of frit production capacity to meet growing demand in the international ceramic market.
2013 - New business stage
Change of ownership and a new business phase focused on modernization, internationalization, and innovation.
2014 - Inkjet Technology
Installation of a new production line dedicated to digital and inkjet inks.
Kerafrit joins the technological revolution that has transformed ceramic decoration in the Castellón cluster.
2015 - Second Golden Alpha
Second Alfa de Oro Award for the KerXshield project, a technical enamel with protective properties against ionizing radiation.
2017 - Nonslip Technology
Launch of Nonslip Ink, a patented digital innovation that improves slip resistance without altering the aesthetics of the pieces.
2018 - International recognition
Kerafrit has been recognized by the Castellón Chamber of Commerce as the Best Exporting SME, highlighting its presence in more than 40 countries, including Spain, Russia, Turkey, Iran, and Indonesia.
2022 - Photovoltaic ceramics
Participation in the FOTO-CER project, focused on the development of photovoltaic ceramic coatings that generate energy without altering the aesthetic properties of surfaces.
2025 - Towards the future
Kerafrit continues to establish itself as a benchmark in ceramic innovation, combining technology, sustainability, and design.
